Turnoff To Summer Field Camp Site

White Pine County, Nevada

The dirt path at right up ahead, in White Pine County, Nevada, leads northward through studendous Great Basin isolation to the exact spot where my father camped while conducting his Summer Field Camp course (mapping in geological detail a specific portion of geographic quadrangle) to complete requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California. He also went on to gain a Master of Science degree in engineering geology from the University of Southern California. A Google Earth street car perspective that I edited and processed through photoshop.
