Lower to middle Devonian Nevada Formation

Top and bottom--Corals from the lower to middle Devonian Nevada Formation, Eureka County, Nevada, a number of miles west of the western border of White Pine County. Specimen at top is called scientificallyTaimyrophyllum nolani, of middle Devonian geologic age; specimen at bottom (two different views of same coral) is called genus-species Siphonophrentis (Breviphrentis) kobehensis, of early Devonian geologic age.
