Top and bottom--Corals from the lower to middle Devonian Nevada Formation, Eureka County, Nevada, a number of miles west of the western border of White Pine County. Specimen at left (two views of same coral) is called scientifically Kobeha cf. K. walcotti, of early Devonian geologic age; specimen at right (two different views of same coral) is called genus-species Cystiphylloides lonense, of early Devonian geologic age.
