Top and bottom--Exposures of the middle to upper Devonian Devils Gate Limestone in Eureka County, Nevada, a number of miles west of the western border of White Pine County, Nevada. The Devils Gate produces numerous varieties of invertebrate animal remains--Brachiopods, crinoids, corals, bryozoans, ostracods, conodonts, stromatoporoids (an extinct calcareous sponge), and gastropods.
